*Free personal checking for business owners is available to owners of any Whitney Business Checking account. Whitney Business Checking account customers are limited to two (2) free Smart Checking Plus accounts per owner. Owners of incorporated businesses must be principal shareholders in the company or principal members of a Limited Liability Company/LLC (having a 10% ownership or greater), or if a partnership, each general partner is eligible. Owners/officers/signers on checking accounts of civic clubs, community groups, nonprofit organizations and/or public fund/government organizations are not eligible for a Smart Checking Plus account. Persons acting in a representative capacity on an account are also not eligible.
